Specification Sales Specialist

£45 000 - £50 000 plus OTE (circa £12K in year one) Plus Extensive Benefits.

In this lighting solutions specification sales role, you will be nurturing and developing relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants and Contractors, working on lighting projects within your region.  These may be commercial, leisure or retail projects.  You will also develop and maintain relationships with Wholesalers where they are involved in project specification.

Home-based, you will inherit the well-established existing customer base and be responsible for identifying and growing new business opportunities within these accounts and opening new doors, as well.

The company is part of a £30m+ UK specialist lighting group, this company serves the domestic and export markets for retail, commercial and leisure lighting.

 

The right person will be a Specification salesperson with strong Consultant, Architectural, Interior Designer and Retail relationships / experience in the Midlands region.

 

You will have lighting solutions product knowledge.

 

You will be confident, communicative, self-motivated and well organized with a strong work ethic and a good sense of humour!

Head of Operations, Lighting Solutions
Based Near Wakefield

£75 000 - £80 000, Bonus Structure and Other Company Benefits

This is a hands-on Head of Operations role which will focus on leading and optimising the company's operational functions, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction as the business continues to grow.

 

The Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operational aspects of the business. This is a senior role within an ambitious company, requiring both strategic thinking and a willingness to roll up sleeves and get involved in the day-to-day problem solving.

 

This role will partner with several departments across the company from supply chain and logistics, to Customer Experience, IT, and Human Resources.

 

You will lead and manage operations across warehousing, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, and customer support, providing operational leadership to all relevant departments

The person they are looking for will ideally have; 

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience within an Operational leadership role, ideally within distribution, wholesale, or light manufacturing

  • Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and warehouse operations

  • Commercially astute with experience managing budgets and cost controls

  • Experience with P&L responsibility

  • Hands-on and pragmatic leader who thrives in an SME business environment

  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skill

  • Track record of driving process improvements and implementing operational systems

  • Knowledge of the lighting or electrical products industry would be an asset but not essential

  • Experience with ERP Systems is essential, particularly Epicor ERP

  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, process optimisation, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, Kaizen) with demonstrable success in driving efficiency, productivity, and cost savings

New Product Development Manager, Johannesburg 

R 750 000 - R 1 000 000 per annum (CTC) plus various company benefits

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced New Product Development (NPD) Manager to join a leading food business, driving innovation and renovation across categories. This role is ideal for someone with a strong food science/technology background and proven track record in QSR, FMCG, or retail food product development.

 

Key Responsibilities:
✨ Lead product development projects from concept to launch, ensuring compliance with nutritional, allergen, and legislative requirements
✨ Conduct product builds, yield and shelf-life validations, portioning, and cost optimisation
✨ Develop and maintain product documentation (CSLs, BOMs, procedures)
✨ Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Suppliers
✨ Oversee product trials, tastings, consumer research, and supplier line sign-offs
✨ Drive product renovation and packaging improvements with a focus on efficiency and cost savings

 

What We’re Looking For:
✔ Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
✔ 8 years’ experience in food product development (QSR/FMCG/Retail)
✔ Strong hands-on technical skills in product building and testing

Business Development Manager, South West

£38 000 - £42 000 plus OTE, Company Car and Various Company Benefits

Based from home, you will nurture and develop relationships and sales opportunities within Electrical Wholesalers in South Wales - M4 to Reading - Avon - Devon, meeting customers regularly in the field.  You will be working with Electrical Wholesalers and Contractors, maximising their knowledge and subsequent promotion of the company’s range of lighting solutions to End Users.

Specification Sales Specialist, Residential Market – London

£60 000 - £70 000 plus OTE, £8,100 Car Allowance, Other Benefits

Selling a globally recognised portfolio of Lighting Control and Home Automation products, you will be working alongside Architects, Designers and Contractors on Residential projects in the South-East.  A very hands-on role, you are likely to be involved in each project from cradle to grave.
Existing relationships with A&Ds, Contractors and Consultants in the South East are essential.
